Randall (Randy) was one of our most complicated surgical cases in 2006. At the age of 12 he and his mother arrived at our screening day. Our team took 5 hours to repair his wide bilateral cleft lip and palate.

Randy's mother Analia was overwhelmed with the result and could not thank our team enough, turning up on our last day at the hospital to farewell and publicly thank us with a speech.

She wrote to a member of the team throughout the year to keep ORH updated on Randy's progress and returned to the hospital with Randy in 2007 on our screening day. Randy has now been scheduled for speech therapy and along with his Mum is happier and looking forward to his future
